I have a gas oven. Can I place the oven liner on the bottom of the oven?

No. If you have a gas oven, DO NOT place the oven liner on the bottom of the oven. It must be placed on the bottom rack. This is because gas ovens have vents on the bottom/sides and accidentally covering these vents can lead to carbon-monoxide poisoning.

I have an electric oven with a hidden element. Can I place the oven liner on the bottom of the oven?

No. If you have an oven with a hidden element, DO NOT place the oven liner on the bottom of the oven. It must be placed on the bottom rack. With these types of ovens, you cannot put anything on the bottom of the oven, including foil, silicone etc. Since the element is hidden, the bottom of the oven can reach temperatures of up to 8000 F. At this high temperature, anything that you put on the bottom can melt.
